Out in the country in the Osage Nation Reservation is a small ranch called TNT, which stands for Tony and Tammie. I was working for the Humane Society as Executive Director, when a lady came in with the funniest looking dog I had ever seen, Cari a Hairless Chinese Crested. Her owner could not keep her anymore and wanted Cari to find a new loving home. Cari jumped down from the ladies lap, went into my office and sat in my chair. After the nice lady left it was time to go home and I decided that it would not be in the best interest of this little dog to put her in the back kennels, so I took her home. Well I ended up adopting her and she has been with me ever since. After learning about the Crested I fell in love with this rare breed.
With my husband’s approval I bought my first Crested, Jocko. As Jocko grew we discussed breeding/showing this type of dog. When I was a little girl my mother raised and bred Irish Setter's and then Shih Tzu’s, I have always loved dogs. Tony agreed to let me have a female to breed to Jocko. We now have 3 breeding females and I consider myself a hobby breeder. One of my female dog's I bought with full intentions to show, but while I was working for the Humane Society it became very time demanding and I had to put my showing on hold. I now work for a wonderful company and have time to show my dogs.
Every one must sit, be good and wait for their turn.
All my dogs have Champion Bloodlines, are healthy, have wonderful temperament’s and very well socialized. This breed is very social and needs to be around lots of people. I bought a dog from a breeder who did not allow her dogs to be around to many people and the dog I bought was very fearful. Luckily with my past experience as a vet assistant and working with the dogs at the shelter, I have been able to socialize her and bring her out of her shell.
Our dogs do sleep in kennels at night or stay in kennels if we are away from the house; we feel this is safer for the dogs. Their kennels are placed in one of the bedrooms in our house so they are always comfortable and warm. Our dogs are with us all the time at our house and we socialize them with everything. We have 2 children, a large cat, miniature horses, full size horses and a mini donkey. We allow our dogs to live life and explore the farm when we are outside as well. We also take the dogs to events in town so they get socialized around other people. I prefer to place our dogs in homes with owners that understand the needs of Chinese Crested's. This breed is very sensitive, loyal and obedient. They have special needs to take care of their skin and coat. If you have never had a Crested please learn about this breed before making your decision.
UPDATE
Tony's mom lost her 2 year battle with lung and brain cancer Saturday the 24th of July. She was layed to rest on the 28th in Fairfax Oklahoma, next to Tony's dad, who also lost his life to cancer in 2003. My Mother is once again fighting her cancer and I know what a strong determined woman she is and will beat this.

Jocko was laying on the floor, when my grand daughter Abigal crawled over and layed on him. Jocko just layed there at my feet. Jocko loves Abby and lets her do what ever she wants. He loves it when she shares her cookies.

If you are looking for a quality Chinese Crested with the best temperment contact me!!!
