Mystic Chinese Crested

Mystic is our 2 year old stud. He is a gray appy and is only 28" tall. He has a beautiful head and loves to be around people. Mystic Grandsire is Orion Light Vant Huttenest, his sire is Champion Yashica Light Vant Huttenest.

Darlin is our 2 year old filly out of Champion Lessley's Dapper Dusty. Darlin has her own fam club here in Ponca. She was used in the play Cinderella at the Ponca Playhouse. Darlin did a wonderful job on stage and was not scared of anything.

This is Silky and her 1 year old son Buddy. In the back ground is Festes. Festes is our Gelding who is broke to ride and pull the cart. Buddy is for sale at this time but has no papers. Very gentle and very easy to catch.

APACHIE AND GENERAL

Apachie is a black and white Tobiano Mare. Apachie has one blue eye and one brown eye. She also has a mark on her back that is in the perfect shape of an Arrow Head. Apachie was my husbands horse, but now she is my horse.

General is a Chestnut Gelding and has Sugar Bars breeding. Gen is a Reg Paint, but he for got to get the markings. I have raised and trained Gen from the time he hit the ground. Gen is the most calm and gentle horse that you will ever meet. My husband is now riding him and will start working cattle on him this summer.

This is General's mother Brassy. Brassy was my mare for over 10 years. I showed Brassy in Halter and Westren Pleasure. Brassy has a small problem that caused her to lose weight. Brassy is a cribber and the cribbing got so bad that she stopped eating grain and hay. The only way she would not crib is by putting her on a very large pasture. Although I loved this horse with all my heart I could not watch her starve herself to death. Brassy had gotten so bad I was going to put her down, wihich was the most difficult decision I ever had to make and it just about did me in, but my wonderful husband found a better solution.

 My husband knew of a couple that had over 20 acers of land and had a horse along time ago that had the same problem and understood Brassy's needs. They had the horse until it died of old age, 32.  Brassy is now fat and sassy again and has won the heart the couples of a 16 year old grandaughter, who dreamed of having a Paint horse. Brassy gave me 10 wonderful years and taught my daughter to ride, I want her to have the best life. I can visit Brassy anytime I want to and give her her favorite treat, Soinc peppermints.
